Your legacy vault for the people you love

Your voice. Your stories. Your love — kept safe and delivered to your family when they need it most.

Most voicemails are cleared after 14 to 30 days, saved or not. A voice is the first thing families lose and the one thing they wish they still had. Record yours before it's too late.

Free for your first 5 memories. No card needed to start.

Everything you want them to remember

One safe place for the words, moments and wisdom only you can give.

Save a voice before it disappears

Record now, in your own voice. Voicemails get cleared in 14 to 30 days. This doesn't.

Say the thing you're afraid you'll never say

Words of love, an apology, the advice you want them to have. Leave it while you can.

Make sure it arrives on the day that matters

A birthday, a wedding morning, the day they turn 21. You pick the date; we send it.

Leave something for each person, not a pile

A private collection per loved one, so each of them gets what was meant for them.

Know what to say when words are hard

Gentle prompts start you off, and every recording is written out so it can be read too.

Keep the recipes and photos from getting lost

Voice, video, photos, letters, recipes, scanned keepsakes — one place your family can find.

How delivery actually works

No guessing. You choose when each memory leaves the vault.

  1. 1

    Available now

The memory sits in your vault and you can share it whenever you want. Nothing is sent automatically.

  2. 2

    On a date you pick

You add their email and a date. On that morning we email them a private link to the memory, and you can see it marked as delivered.

  3. 3

    After you're gone

The memory stays locked in your vault. It is released to the loved ones you named once they contact us at support@always-here.life with proof, such as a death certificate. There is no automatic detection — a person always reviews it.

Everything is stored with AES-256 encryption, the standard used by banks and the U.S. government, and encrypted again while it travels to and from your device. Only you and the people you name can open it.

From the founder

Why I built Always Here

After losing my mom, I wished I could still hear her voice. Always Here was created so no love is left unsaid — and so every family can keep the people they love close, forever.

Questions families ask

How do my memories reach my family after I'm gone?

You choose the timing for every memory. Some are available right away. Some are scheduled for a date you pick, and on that morning we email that person a private link. Memories marked "after I'm gone" stay locked in your vault until the loved ones you named contact us at support@always-here.life with proof, such as a death certificate. There is no automatic detection, and a person reviews every release request.

How are my recordings protected?

Files are stored with AES-256 encryption, the same standard used by banks and the U.S. government, and encrypted again in transit between your device and the vault. Your vault is private by default: nobody, including us, browses your memories, and only the people you name can open what you send them.

What happens to my memories if Always Here shuts down?

You can download your entire vault at any time from Settings. The download is a normal zip folder with your real audio, video, photo and letter files, plus readable text versions and instructions for opening them on a phone or computer. If the service ever had to close, we would email every member well in advance and keep downloads open so nothing is trapped here.

Can I try it without paying?

Yes. The free plan lets you save 5 memories and add 1 loved one, with no card. Premium starts with a 7-day free trial; a card is required and it becomes $9.99 a month on day 8 unless you cancel first.

What happens to my memories if I stop paying?

Nothing is deleted. You keep your vault and can view and download everything you saved. You just can't add new memories beyond the free limits or use scheduled delivery until you subscribe again.

How do I cancel?

In the app, go to My Account and open your billing page. Cancelling takes one click and keeps your access until the end of the month you already paid for. No phone call, no email required.

Is there a limit on how long a recording can be?

There is no time limit. Each file can be up to 200 MB, which is roughly three hours of voice recording, and most families record in a few minutes at a time.

What can I put in my vault?

Voice messages, videos, photos, letters, recipes with the story behind them, and scanned keepsakes like handwritten cards or documents. Every recording is written out as text, so a memory can be read as well as heard.

Who is behind Always Here?

Always Here is built and run by Kayla Alcazar, who started it after losing her mom and wishing she could still hear her voice. Payments are handled by Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record.

Can my whole family use one account?

Family Legacy covers up to 6 members for $19.99 a month. Everyone gets their own profile inside a shared family vault, with a family timeline and collaborative albums, so grandparents' and parents' memories live in one archive.
